Ch. Baltazar Eike Von Repkow (Riot)

Riot was my Golden Retriever trapped in a Komondor body. He loved everyone and never met a stranger.
He would have failed miserably as a Livestock Guardian but was a success at stealing our hearts.

Goodbye my sweet boy.   We love you and miss you!!

We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.   Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.   We cherish memory  as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan.

We agreed to foster Cash for a trial period and that trial period lasted seven and a half years.   He was the ultimate Komondor and taught us just what a Komondor is all about.  He gave to us all that he had.

What an incredible journey and what an incredible dog.
